Artist Inkjet Print 16"x20"

In this inkjet print I combine found images and my photographs of bees. Some of the figures are from Dr. Seuss (The Bee Watcher) and it includes found images of hexagons. I use text to invite the viewer into the content of the piece and also to create texture and line.
Artist Biography: Janet Mikolajczyk
Janet earned her BA in Studio Art from Barat College in 1978 and went on to receive an MA in Art History from Kent State in 1993. She taught Art History at Cleveland State University from 1993-2011 and currently focuses on showing her art locally.
