Description

Work with the artist, who will create a 16? x 20? painting inspired by your vision, whether it?s capturing your favorite spot on the Cape or a special person in your life.

Peter is a self-taught Eastham artist, who has always expressed his creativity through his vocation, creating custom home renovations, murals, signs, and logos. An oversized blank canvas given to him by his artist sister sparked his creative juices, which ultimately became his first work, ?The Wreck of the Essex?.  He was then gifted the late Eastham historian, teacher and artist Jim Owen?s canvases and brushes, furthering his journey into oils and acrylics, and he has been painting ever since.

Peter?s passion for the rich maritime history around Cape Cod has been the driving force behind his work. A fisherman and sailor with a background in mechanical drawing and building, he has a keen eye and attention to detail. His commissions and sales now hang in private collections on Cape Cod, Los Angeles and Florida.

The painting seen here is an example of the artist?s work, but the successful bidder will work with the artist to create a custom, commissioned piece.
