Jennifer Formica is a photographer living in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. She received a BFA in Photography from Hartford Art School, University of Hartford in Connecticut, and an MFA in Photography from the State University of New York at Buffalo. Her work has been exhibited in solo and group exhibitions in galleries and museums, including the Islip Art Museum in East Islip, NY; Albright-Knox Art Gallery in Buffalo, NY; Khaki Gallery in Boston, MA and Gallery 138 in New York, NY. Jenniferâ??s photographs have been published in Robert Hirsch's books Light & Lens: Photography in the Digital Age and Exploring Color Photography: From Film to Pixels. She received the Annual Oseroff Memorial Purchase Prize from the Center for Exploratory and Perceptual Arts in Buffalo, NY. Formicaâ??s photograph, COVID-19 Discarded Glove with Spring Blossoms, was recently included in the exhibition #ICPConcerned: Global Images for Global Crisis at the International Center of Photography in New York, NY. Her photographic images have been published in The Boston Globe, The New Yorker, BBC, and City Journal. Jennifer is currently an Adjunct Professor of Photography at York College, New Jersey City University, and New York Institute of Technology.
