The cottage is located on its own 28-acre field at the base of Mt. Adams. We are the farmers next door (ok, with day jobs). The farming part is a work in progress. But while we are having fun figuring it all out, you may enjoy our spare home. It?s just a small cabin with a triple-wide view of the mountain. A great place to rest and rejuvenate or launch your next adventure.

The space
We like to think of it as a wooden tent with a kitchen, small living area, and a mountain-view deck with a propane fire pit (so you stay warm while stargazing) and a grill. Two small simple bedrooms (one queen bed in each) and a full bath. If you must have AC, you might look elsewhere but truth be told we?ve lived here for 25 years absolutely have never needed it. It?s pretty simple, and we like it that way so hope you do too.
Guest access
The house is all yours--to come and go as you please. You are welcome to explore the open fielded property and west to the Trout Lake Natural Area Preserve. We live nearby and are happy to point you in the right direction for any adventure or let you discover Trout Lake all on your own.
Bring your hiking shoes, road bike, cross country skis, alpine touring skis, snowmobiles, mountain bike or horse! This is a place from which you could use all your toys on the same day.

Other things to note
The house is small and sleeps up to four (in two beds). The living room couch does fold flat to a short single bed (kid-size). And in case you missed it before, absolutely no smoking anywhere on the property.
