A very unique ornate folding Egyptian book stand. Extremely well elaborated in the best of the Mideastern woodworking traditions. Wood inlay in a form of intricate geometric patterns and mother of pearl tear drop shaped incrustations and all hand made. It folds for storage, is stable when opened, great for display of books, magazines or anything else. Originally made to possibly hold the Quran or other Islamic scriptures
