TNS 8x10 Community Art: Colored Pencil on Shrunken Plastic

8x10ART is about celebrating TNS?s community of artists as well as making art accessible and democratic, both for the artist and the buying public. Teachers, parents, and community artists are exhibited together to raise money for TNS?s arts education programs.

Area artists, professional and self-taught, beginners and masters submitted up to three pieces on any subject, style or medium for our first Art Day in January 2020. Under the cloak of anonymity, well-known artists can participate in support of TNS, freed from any expectations of style, subject, or reputation. Other artists rarely seen are given an opportunity to share their vision. With no names or prices to guide the buyer, selections are made simply by what appeals to them. Only after the auction closes will the artist?s name be revealed to the buyer. For many, it is one of the few opportunities to buy affordable original artwork.
