Artist Statement:

This cod has adopted a beautiful coat of mollusk shells to armor itself against the ravages of time, all the while enjoying its own beauty and the beauty of the ocean life around and about it.

Artist Biography:

Dr. Eleanor Ruth Fisher, PsyD, is an artist member of Marblehead Arts Association, has participated in many local and national art shows winning several awards for excellence. Her unique mixed media creations use glass shards and other materials and have sold in Australia, New York, Florida, California, Georgia, Washington DC, and the greater Boston area. Her work is known for its diversity, color, and the joy it brings to the people who view it. She welcomes commissions.

Item Special Note

Pick-up of purchased cods will be July 9-14 at MacRea's Goods, 108 Washington St, Marblehead during normal store hours. The winning bidder will receive a notification email with information on pick-up time and location.

If winning bidder requires shipping, winner's credit card will be charged a separate $24.95 fee to cover USPS ground and handling. Shipping is available within the U.S. only and must be requested within 7 days after receipt of the notification email.

Any cod purchased via "Buy Now" will remain on display at the hosting business through the end of the auction, and will be available for pick-up as detailed in the winning bidder notification email.

If winning bidder has not picked up cod (or provided shipping address) within 30 days after the close of the auction, cod will become the property of Marblehead Festival of Arts, Inc.
