Artist Statement:
I wanted to create a cod that had depth to it and went back to using acrylics. I made textures to replicate the scales and water around the cod. I then painted over them for a different look. I wanted it a bit whimsical and used dots to also give a bit of texture to the painting of the fish.
Artist Biography:
Patti has an extensive background as an innovative, hands-on Creative Services Director leading marketing, branding, digital and print design projects for private businesses and agencies. Her career has spanned corporate and private art, magazine layout, publishing, illustration fields, and non-profit art management. She currently works at Hestia Creations as the Director of Special Projects.

Item Special Note
Pick-up of purchased cods will be July 9-14 at MacRea's Goods, 108 Washington St, Marblehead during normal store hours. The winning bidder will receive a notification email with information on pick-up time and location.
If winning bidder requires shipping, winner's credit card will be charged a separate $24.95 fee to cover USPS ground and handling. Shipping is available within the U.S. only and must be requested within 7 days after receipt of the notification email.
Any cod purchased via "Buy Now" will remain on display at the hosting business through the end of the auction, and will be available for pick-up as detailed in the winning bidder notification email.
If winning bidder has not picked up cod (or provided shipping address) within 30 days after the close of the auction, cod will become the property of Marblehead Festival of Arts, Inc.
