Bernese Hazelnut Gingerbread (15 pieces)

Bernese Hazelnut Gingerbread is a sweet pastry consisting of an aromatic mass of ground hazelnuts, sugar, and egg white. This marzipan-like hazelnut mixture is only baked very briefly so that it is crispy on the outside and still soft on the inside. Moreover, it contains neither flour nor water. This treat is gluten and lactose-free.

These hazelnut gingerbreads are produced throughout the canton and in the city of Bern all year round. They are traditionally regarded as festive pastries and are particularly popular as gift items.

Unless otherwise indicated above, items will need to be picked up by the bidder at either of the following locations/dates:

-  September 3, 2022: Swiss Park, 5911 Mowry Ave, Newark, CA 94560
-  September 10, 2022: San Joaquin Swiss Club, 110 North Manley, Ripon, CA 95366

Shipping and handling charges (if any) must be paid by the bidder.

Payments must be made via credit card. A transaction fee (5%) and a credit card processing fee (3.5%) will be added to the bid amount and charged to the bidders credit card.

If required under applicable law, sales tax will be added to the bid amount and charged to the successful bidder?s credit card.

Any item sold but left unclaimed by December 31, 2022, will be offered to the next highest bidder for purchase at the next highest bid amount. Payments made for unclaimed auction items will not be refunded.
