This concert heralds our friends and partners locally and across the country. The VYO is proud to perform the Vermont premiere of Jennifer Higdon's Cold Mountain as part of a national presenting consortium for the 2022-2023 season. This
concert also celebrates composers of Mexican heritage and some beloved orchestra favorites. Musicians from the Vermont Symphony Orchestra join the VYO to perform José Pablo Moncayo's Huapango and
Arturo Márquez's Danzón No. 2.

Let's go to the movies. Step back in time and enjoy The Lost World, a 1925 American silent film adapted from Arthur Conan Doyle's 1912 novel of the same name. The VYO accompanies this 45 minute fantasy adventure film. Music from
John Williams' Jurassic Park opens the program.
