Description

Golf for three at the Congressional Country Club?s -- GOLD Course with Haywood Miller '81

Congressional Country Club (GOLD)
Bethesda, Md. / Par: 71 / Length: 6483 yards/ Slope: 131 / Rating: 71.7

Congressional Country Club and golf course in Bethesda, Maryland opened in 1924. The gold course is highlighted by a couple of exceptional holes, namely the 12th and 18th, and interesting greens that compliment the layout.

The course features gentle undulations throughout the routing and the greens have subtleties that will surely confound players the first time around. The middle section of the routing boasts dense trees and some beautiful holes. During this stretch is the 12th hole which is not only the finest on the Gold course, but one of the best par 4s in the greater D.C. area. The finishing hole is also stunning as this par three plays over a pond to green with the towering clubhouse featured in the background.
