The Babe

He debuted as a pitcher for the Boston Red Sox, winning 89 games over six seasons. He was traded to the Yankees and converted to the outfield because of his awesome power. His home run career included blasting 60 in 1927 and 714 lifetime. 

 

Lou Gehrig, 1903-1941

The Iron Horse

1st MLB player to have his number retired. 13 consecutive seasons with 100 runs and 100 RBI's. 23 career grand slams. Won the Triple Crown in 1934. 6 World Championships in 13 years.
