Description

Run For Fun Adventure Camp combines kids' love for sports, nature, creativity and adventure. We pride ourselves on offering a highly personalized experience. Our counselors understand the importance of connecting with the campers on both individual and group levels. Each week of camp features thress to four adventures with all other days hosted at Barron Park Elementary School in Palo Alto where kids play sports, create crafts and play organized games.

A typical "Adventure Day" includes 30 minutes of play on campus before loading the bus and heading to our destination. Adventure Camp uses a professional bus company to transport campers. Additional staff members (including lifeguards) are present on Adventure Days to ensure each camper's safety.

Adventure locations may include:

-Capitola beach where campers play dodgeball, beach volleyball, kite flying, participate in sandcastle building contests and creat sand art.

-Foothills Park where campers build forts and houses, play kick the cone and participate in nature exploration and games

-Camp Jones Gulch where campers learn archery, wall climbing, skits, campouts and smore making. Horse back riding is available the week of June 4th-8th only.

-Shoreline Lake for kayaking, paddle boating and games

-Swimming at the local pool for the afternoon. Campers who do not wish to swim have the option to stay on campus and participate in organized games and crafting activities
