Built in 1801, this house is where the Vice President of the United States, Aaron Burr, stayed while fleeing arrest after his infamous duel with Alexander Hamilton in 1804. Now 220 years old, the house is the oldest residence still standing in St. Mary?s.

Sleep soundly and awake in one of the three suites: The Aaron Burr Suite, the Winfield Scott Suite, and the Alexander Hamilton Suite with ensuite bath, bidet, and shower. Enjoy breakfast in the cozy nook overlooking the side yard. Bask in the sunroom, or bathe in the clawfoot tub. Sit down to 400+ books in the library and/or work in the Guest Office.
