Tour hosts Two Truths and Bhutan Wisdom Tours invite you to participate in a rare retreat opportunity October 13 to 26, 2016: a conversation between Western and Bhutanese teachers, scholars, lamas, and monks in the venerated Lhodrak Kharchu Monastery in central Bhutan. The theme, “Cultivating Dharma in Relationships”.
Teachers include: Acharya Judith Lief, Dosho Port Roshi, Matthieu Ricard, Lama Thupten Rinpoche.
Topics will include:
- Mindful Relationships with Self and Others
- Caring for the Planet
- Healthcare and Self-Responsibility
- Spirituality and Intention
There will be meditations, mindfulness movement experiences, teachings, dialogue, and transmissions.
The five-day retreat is part of a larger 14-day cultural immersion tour that will visit the last intact Buddhist kingdom. Everyone will participate in a two-day Tsechu Sacred Dance Festival, visit sacred sites, nunneries and temples, artisan villages, and commune with yaks and monkeys in pristine, old-growth forests with cascading waterfalls turning traditional prayer wheels.

Costs are based on double occupancy, ie. shared twin or double occupancy, and include all taxes, ground transport, in-country air fare, hotels, meals, guides, admissions and $600 retreat registration. Cost also includes $250.00 per day Daily Tariff mandated by the Royal Government, which partially covers universal free healthcare and free education.
