About the Artist:
The Mumbai based artist, Siddharth Shingade was born in 1983. Studied at the well known Sir J. J. School of Art in Mumbai, India, he has participated in various solo and group shows. The artist?s canvases are populated with tall figures, many with history and each with interesting stories to share. His choice of colours reflects the intimate relationship he shares with his homeland, Marathwada in India. The deep browns and golden yellows draw upon the warmth of its climate as well as the heart of its people.
