Wander around this 16-acre garden, which is situated among the buildings and ruins of an 18th and 19th-century sugar cane plantation, and overlaps with an Amerindian settlement that dates back to c.100 A.D. The centerpiece of the ruins is the restored "cockpit" animal mill complete with wooden crushing machinery. In addition to its long-standing history, the beautifully-restored 12+ acre plantation is set on the side of a hill in the rainforest, offering magnificent views of verdant hills, treetops, and the azure Caribbean Sea.
