Item Description
Join Drew dad Greg Dalton (Claire '22) and Drew's Director of Experiential Education and Interim Science Department Chair Maren Anderson in conversation about the effects of plastic pollution on our oceans at the Commonwealth Club. Followed by a reception featuring wine and Bi-Rite snacks.
Greg is the Founder and Host of Climate One at The Commonwealth Club, which he founded in 2007 after traveling to the Russian Arctic on a global warming symposium with climate scientists and journalists. Today Climate One produces a weekly radio show broadcast on public stations in California and around the country. Greg also hosts a monthly TV show on KRCB TV 22 on Comcast and DirecTV.
More timely than ever, this insider discussion about how we are impacting our fragile (and only!) planet is a unique opportunity to hear from an expert in our community in conversation with one of our expert faculty members. Plus, it's a great chance to hang out with other Drew parents and enjoy some delicious wine and snacks together.
The evening will be held on Friday, October 18th from 5:30 - 7:30pm in the Hormel Lounge at The Commonwealth Club 110 The Embarcadero, San Francisco.
