Item Description
Personalized instruction for a group of 10 beer aficionados in brewing a craft beer. Bring your group of friends to Florida International University and participate in the brewing of your own beer. Class will meet for four – six hours and complete all the steps necessary to create a customized beer, which will be bottled with labels of your design, and yours to share with relatives, friends, and neighbors. Because we like good beer!!
Class will be instructed by Dr. Barry H. Gump, Harvey R. Chaplin Eminent Scholar in Beverage Management. Florida International University, School of Hospitality And Tourism Management, Brew Science Lab - Biscayne Bay Campus.
Item Special Note
Brewing instruction may take place on any Friday, Saturday, or Sunday morning or afternoon, as arranged between instructor and participants. Fermentation will take two weeks after which beer is bottled and labeled. Participants may return to assist in bottling of beer, or just pick up your personalized bottled brew when complete. Yield is 2 cases of 24 bottles each.
