Item Description

Alma Handmade Chocolates uses fresh ingredients to make chocolate you can believe in. As with all Alma confections, this special assortment has been made with real vanilla, fresh herbs, and organic butter and cream, and no preservatives or artificial flavors. No two batches are exactly alike. They are as individual and unique as the lucky and successful bidder who will receive this item.

The Good Luck! Collection contains a gilded Ganesha,  10-piece Super Sampler, Ginger Almond Toffee Bar, and a Salty Nutty Toffee Bar.

While you're on the site check out the tantalizing chocolate subscription, a chocolate treat automatically delivered to your door every month for a period of 11 months.

In 2004, Alma owner Sarah Hart wondered why so many chocolate easter bunnies were so awful. The chocolate was waxy, the designs tacky. Theobroma, Latin for chocolate, held so much promise. It was, after all, the food of the gods. This simple idea launched Alma Chocolate. Sarah marketed these first products — molded chocolate “Icons,” sculptures of religious and cultural figures that were hand-gilded with 23-karat gold leaf — at friends’ retail stores and street fairs, where they were an immediate success.

When Sarah’s kitchen became too small to keep up with orders, she began selling at the Farmer’s Market, where she still keeps a booth on Saturdays. She also has a shop on 28th Avenue in Portland, Oregon.
