Item Description
This is a 300 year old thatched cottage in a rural village in County Cork, Ireland, walking distance to beach, spectacular cliffs and old ruins. It has two bedrooms and two baths, on an acre of land.
You will be a 20 minute drive from the historic walled town of Youghal, and 40 minutes from Cork City.
Sheets and towels are provided, and a helpful neighbor next door will help with advice and suggestions. The cottage is rustic but cozy and comfortable with fireplace in living room and bedroom, fridge and stove.
See the real Ireland, visit the pubs, go fishing.
Perfect for two or four people. The item is for six nights and seven days.
Donated by Elaine Lafferty, former editor in chief of Ms. magazine. Lafferty was also a former staff writer at Time magazine, editor at MORE magazine, and war correspondent at The Irish Times of Dublin.
