Item Description

Learn about Idaho's state fish - the cutthroat trout! ONE PERSON will join Idaho Department of Fish and Game biologists to check spawning traps on the Blackfoot River and at Swan Creek in southeast Idaho. Enjoy viewing huge cutthroat, running to over 10 pounds. 

This ONE DAY trip involves checking a fish trap, walking a short section of the stream and opportunities to net, sort and measure large fish.  Winning bidder provides transportation to Soda Springs, Idaho. 

TRIP TAKES PLACE IN MAY 2010 (weekends and holidays excluded).

Required gear includes chest waders, hat, rain/cold weather gear, and polarized sunglasses.

Item Special Note

Winning bidder must feel comfortable walking in the water and capable of walking over uneven terrain. Winning bidder will be contacted by Idaho Fish and Wildlife Foundation staff for scheduling and confirmation of trip date. 

The trip is available in May 2010 due to spawning survey scheduling. Dates are non-negotiable.

PLEASE NOTE:  In addition to the winning bid price a 3.45% credit card fee, plus 35 cents per transaction will be applied to each item.  A 6% Idaho Sales Tax will be added to the final bid price for all land-based trips. For all navigable water-based trips, no sales tax will be charged due to Federal law.  All sales are final.
