Item Description
The University's "private" course Radrick Farms has granted the MGoAuction a round of golf. There are great golf courses in and around Ann Arbor. Radrick Farms, off Geddes Road, is one of the best. The problem is that only a select minority of local golfers get a chance to play the jewel of a course. Owned and operated by the University of Michigan, it is only open to membership for faculty and staff of the University. The course was designed by famed architect Pete Dye, Radrick opened in 1965. It was Dye's first course design, or so the story goes, and you might say he came out of the gates swinging (although rumor has it that upon a revisit several years later, he didn't like the course much; he thought the greens were too severe). Here's a very very rare chance for two to play a round on this great course with a free cart. Note: the round must be played on a Monday through Thursday. The certificate will not be honored on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday.
Bidder assumes all shipping costs if they do not wish to pick the item up in person.
Proceeds from the auction of this item benefit the Bernard KAS Governor's Leadership Scholarship.
