Item Description
Dante Marioni’s blown glass work is strongly influenced by the form and cane work of the Venetian tradition, yet has a distinctive style all its own. He was honored in 1995 when his work was chosen for the jacket cover of The White House Collection of American Crafts.
Dante’s vessels epitomize the marriage of Venetian tradition of classic form with American ingenuity, featuring lustrous color and minimalist elegance. He continues to create classically elegant Greek forms, and most recently has expanded his bright, pop palette with mosaic and organic leaf vessels, which showcase his creativity and unique style.
