The WACO YMF biplane has and always will represent the essence of true aviation pleasure.  It combines today's technology and safety features with yesterday's graceful design.  The WACO YMF Super is the The Aeronautic Thoroughbred.

The new WACO D-model is an airplane that exemplifies attention to detail. Our new computer designed MT propeller brings smoother performance while utilizing the power of the optional 300 h.p. fuel injected Jacobs radial engine.  This is a luxury aircraft and a serious performance machine, capable of full aerobatics with impressive flying qualities.  Welcome to a world without boundaries.

Relive the freedom and excitement of barnstorming days, flying a masterfully crafted WACO YMF Super biplane.  The wind in the wires, the rumbling of the radial engine, and the air rushing past will bring back the thrill and mystique of the aviation glory years.  WACO Classic will take you there.  There once was a time when all airplanes were flown from open cockpits, with the pilot heeding the song of wind and wires to guide his way.  Closed cabins evolved, but the open cockpit was still the fancy of the true enthusiast, as well as the training environment of choice.  Today, open cockpit flying is more popular than ever as pilots discover this truly great aviation experience.  As the fledgling aircraft industry unfolded in the mid twenties, one manufacturer rose quickly to the top: The Waco Aircraft Company.  Soon they were building and selling more airplanes than most of the rest of the companies combined, and for good reason.  They built great flying airplanes.  While many makers struggled with aerodynamic vagaries and produced some dubious performers, Waco flourished with its motto "Ask Any Pilot."  Today WACO Classic carries on the tradition.
