Item Description
Corinthian Yacht Club - Digital Art Painting - 39" x 24"
I took this picture a few years ago as my husband and I were sailing along Raccoon Straight as we have many times. I never tire of the beauty the bay has to offer and there is a very long list of magnificent views… fortunate for me.
My vision: Always in awe as I sail by the Corinthian Yacht Club in all its glory with gorgeous Tiburon in the backdrop; when one of the most beautiful sailboats comes ghosting along as if I am living in another era. Wow… I have got to paint that! Outside of us bay area sailors few people will ever set eyes on such a magnificent view.
Serendipitously, Suzi Beatie stopped in at my husband and my pharmacy, Point Pharmacy, in Point Richmond where I display my art. She happened to mention the silent auction benefiting lung cancer research in honor of Rob Moore and gave me the opportunity to donate. I didn’t know Rob but as I educated myself on the event and Rob’s history not only did I feel a kindred spirit to Ron but I felt compelled to donate this painting. How ironic this event is held at the Corinthian Yacht Club with Youngster (who I did not know when I painted this) also participating in the CYC midwinters.
I hope you too will connect to Rob and the magic of this painting thereby giving generously and enjoying the magic in your home or office.
