Item Description
Enjoy this basket of very fine aged California Cabernet Sauvignon Wines including:
1) 1993 Ridge Santa Cruz Mountains Estate
This is a Cabernet blend from the highly regarded Ridge Vineyard. The Santa Cruz Mountains is an Estate Wine, one of their reserve cabernets. It has been cellared for many years and it has aged for drinking beautifully.
2) 1996 Beringer Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon Private Reserve
The Private Reserve is the top of the line, estate bottled Cabernet from Beringer. It has a Robert Parker rating of 91. It is full bodied, yet balanced. The 1996 is fully mature but still holding up exceptionally well.
3) 1996 Raymond Vineyard Generations Cabernet Sauvignon
The Generations cabernet is the finest reserve wine made by Raymond, selected from the best lots of grapes and reflecting the best winemaking techniques. The Generations is made in a “Bordeaux Blend” style of primarily cabernet grapes blended to create optimal balance and complexity.
4) 2001 Dominus Estate Napa Valley
Dominus is one of the most highly regarded and highly rated California Cabernet’s. The 2001 has a stunning 95 rating from Robert Parker. It is fully mature, although it would last well for many years with proper cellaring. The 2001 is an intensely concentrated, complex but very balanced cabernet that reflects the very best of California wine making.
5) 2003 Stags Leap Artemis Cabernet Sauvignon
A consistently excellent Cabernet from one of Napa Valley’s most well known vineyards.
6) 2005 Caymus Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
A big, lush, concentrated cabernet from one of California’s most highly regarded producers. Caymus is the only vineyard to win the Wine Spectator wine of the year award multiple times with the Caymus Special Selection Cabernet. The 2005 is fully mature and a great example of world class California cabernet.
