Item Description
Two Bookmarks hand-embroidered by the Kossack Chacounne, who is also known as Heather, using the patterns of the popular Tudor era embroidery blackwork. Blackwork is a counted thread form of embroidery which can be most prominently seen in the portraits of Henry the Eighth and his wives. The winning bidder may choose which pattern is embroidered on his or or her bookmark, from a selection of over 50 patterns and variations, in the color of their choice.
