Something from the "Ice Kings" - - Rhode Island's hockey lovers will go wild for this item!! Mt. St. Charles Academy's "Mounties" hold the national record for the most consecutive schoolboy hockey state championships (26 straight from 1978-2003 years) and a new streak begun starting 2008 through to this current year.  Their Head Coach, Bill Belisle, National High School Hall of Fame member (2000) and his son, Dave Belisle, coach have autographed this "Koho - revolution" goalie hockey stick. 

This is a great item for any Mount fan or alumni.  As has been written on many a local sports page, Mount's long success is attributed to coach, Bill Belisle, who has lead them since 1976.  Mount's players, are reknown. In fact - a half-dozen former Mounties have played for the U.S. Olympic hockey team during the Belisle era. NHL clubs have drafted over 19 Mount players, and dozens of MSC vets have gone on to play college hockey.  The goalie for the current Philadelphia Flyers, Brian Boucher, began at Mount St. Charles under the Belisle legacy.

Mount St. Charles Hockey holds the records for:

  • The most state championships (41) - from 1933-2010
  • The most consecutive state championships - (26)
  • The most consecutive wins (96) from 1977-82
