Item Description
DINING, CA- Join Jimmy's sister Jane, her husband Seymour and Jim Clendenen on April 11 in Santa Barbara for an incredible evening of culinary delights. Famed Chef Dean Fearing and friends will be preparing you an exquisite meal in honor of Jimmy. Santa Barbara's All Star Vintners, including Jim Clendenen, Richard Sanford, Frank Ostini, Bob Linquist, Brian Loring and a host of others will be pouring great library wines to accompany Dean's inspired cuisine.
Dean Fearing has cooked on every national morning television show, prepared meals for numerous celebrities, presidents, Her Majesty The Queen of England and rock stars. The winner of a multitude of awards, Fearing was at the forefront of developing the new Southwest cuisine genre when he became executive chef at The Mansion on Turtle Creek. Under the direction of classically-trained Fearing, with his daring experiments with products and ideas indigenous to the Southwest, The Mansion became the place to go and a Dallas institution for over 20 years, rated 28 out of 30 by Zagat. Earlier this year, Fearing departed from the Mansion and has opened a new place in the Ritz Carlton, Dallas. Reviews are typical for Fearing: fabulous all the way around-food, service, atmosphere-everything spot-on-it's going to be the place to be for a long time to come.
