Item Description

The Porsche 356B Coupe is a gorgeous example of classic car design. As Porsche's first production automobile, the 356 model was the basis for much of the evolution of the car body design. The 1961 "Notchback" Coupe was a special model only produced for two years. It consisted of a cabriolet body with a steel cabriolet hardtop welded in place. The 1:18 scale diecast model by Bburago closely mimics the car's vintage design. With stunningly realistic interior and exterior details, and wheels that move and steer, this scale model makes a great gift for any admirer of high-end cars and fans of the Porsche brand! The Porsche legacy began in 1931 with Ferdinand Porsche opening an office for 'engineering and consultation on engine and vehicle design.' While no cars were being manufactured at the start of the company, a few years later the company received an official order to construct a German Volkswagen. From then on, the company continued developing and manufacturing vehicles. The name Porsche is today still associated with a standard of excellence that can be seen in cars like the 365B Coupe. Take the opportunity to own a piece of automobile history with your very own Porsche diecast 1:18 scale model! This model allows the opening of doors, the hood (where we appreciate the spare wheel on the inside) as well as the engine cover (where we see the engine with some detail) and the steering wheel integral with the wheel spin. In general it is very faithful to the original model except for some details to the expert observer as the absence of external mirrors or 8 holes in the tires, which are 10 in the actual model.
