Item Special Note
Artist's Statement:
"I originally planned to do a mixed media piece, but when I picked up the first piece of charcoal, I felt the power of the wildfires so strongly that I felt that the piece should be nothing but wildfire charcoal. So I set aside the other materials and concentrated solely on selecting various pieces of charcoal to bring out textures; from bark to raven's wings. From that point on, the image flowed onto the paper. I'm honored and happy to be involved with such a great concept and effort to help restore some of what was lost in the fires."
Please note: A $25 fee will be added to the winning bid price for shipping and handling.
