Item Description

here's your chance to win a part of Michigan history. This is a pennant honoring the 1947 National Championship winning Michigan Football team coached by Fritz Crisler known as the Mad Magicians. The pennant is autographed by the chief magician, halfback and quarterback Bob Chappuis. Chappuis led the team to an undefeated season and a 49-0 thrashing of USC in the Rose Bowl to win the National Championship on his way to an All American year, leading the league in offense and being named runner up for the Heisman Trophy that year. Chappuis outstanding college career also included a stint in the armed forces where his plane was shot down over Normandy. Here's a rare chance to own a piece of memorabilia signed by a true Michigan and American hero.

Bidder assumes all shipping costs if they do not wish to pick the item up in person.
