This package consists of 5 nights (6 days) at the Ezulwini Game Lodges in South Africa for 2 guests. The guests will stay 3 nights at Ezulwini River Lodge and 2 nights at Ezulwini Billy’s Lodge in a standard luxury bungalow.

All meals are included, teas and coffees, and two daily game drives.

Billy's Lodge:

Located on the banks of a seasonal river surrounded by the resident lion pride, this private Safari Lodge features unparalleled views of plains game, and gorgeous Knobthorn, Leadwood and Marula trees indigenous to the western savannah region of Ezulwini.  Billy’s Lodge incorporates organic African architecture and material in it’s sumptuous lounge areas, dining rooms and decks.

We offer private and spacious luxury suites, complete with a personal lounge, mini-bar, dining area, super king-size bed, en-suite bath, indoor and outdoor shower, private plunge pool and a deck with unspoiled views of the surrounding bush.

Billy’s Lodge also boasts one of the finest wine cellars in Africa; set against the natural rock face in resemblance of an ancient Bushman cave. After a devastating fire last May, the lodge was totally rebuilt, implementing even higher standards of design and luxury.

Superb chefs and rangers will ensure you enjoy the ultimate getaway, in a unique blend of indigenous tradition and modern luxury. To guarantee intimacy, tranquility, and exclusivity, Billy’s Lodge will never exceed it’s maximum of twelve guests.

River Lodge:

This luxury lodge is located in the Riverine Forest, which boasts the magnificent Olifants River–largest in all of the lowveld.  It also features two of the largest trees in South Africa, a sycamore fig (with a diameter in excess of five metres), and a leadwood (with a diameter exceeding two metres). This region is home to hippos, crocodiles, elephants and other massive Riverine trees. River Lodge is the venue for any avid bird watcher.

River Lodge has an entertainment area including a lounge, bar, and gorgeous swimming pool, all housed under a traditional thatched roof. Our elegant dining deck is set in riverine vegetation, which looks out over the Olifants River, and our elevated thatched viewing deck overlooks the local water hole, which adds an intimately native ambiance to this lodge.

Superb cuisine and experienced, skillful rangers will give you an experience of Africa to remember forever. Luxury, thatched, twin bed chalets, with en-suite bathrooms, accommodate a maximum of fourteen guests.

Our accommodations, all originally built in the 1940′s, have been furnished with that era  in mind, but restored for ultimate comfort and luxury. They include:

Airfare, transfers, gratuities and alcoholic beverages are not included.

There are no blackout dates. There is a $1200 high season surcharge from December 15 to January 10 paid by the winner.

Additional nights, accompanying guests and upgrades to ultra luxury suites are available at market rate.
