Item Description
Before Florian Henckel von Donnersmarck won the Oscar for his first feature film, "The Lives of Others," he stopped by Portland to introduce his film at the Opening Night of the 30th Portland International Film Festival (PIFF). This 24"x36" poster from PIFF 30 was designed by Steve Sandstrom and signed by Donnersmarck.
This poster features the following handwritten message:
"Congratulations on winning! I feel like I won by being chosen as the Opening Night film at the PIFF. Best wishes, Donnersmarck, writer/director, The Lives of Others, Portland, OR, 10 February 2007."

This unframed poster is in good condition. No tears or folds. Corners slightly bent.
