Item Description

ONE PERSON will join an Idaho Department of Fish and Game Conservation Officer as they patrol the Snake River in Idaho's Hells Canyon to check compliance and provide information to resource users.

This is a TWO DAY patrol with ONE OVERNIGHT stay included at the remote (no frills) Sand Creek patrol cabin. Winning bidder will assist in observing the activities of a conservation officer and generally lending a hand with a variety of tasks to ensure the safety and success of the trip.

Person needs to be able to easily get into and out of a jet boat, okay with a bumpy ride and able to walk on uneven terrain. All meals are provided. Winning bidder needs personal items, sleeping bag and clothing and foot wear appropriate for summer.

TRIP AVAILABLE JUNE, JULY, & AUGUST 2010 (no holidays or weekends). Winning bidder needs to provide transportation to Lewiston, Idaho.

 

Item Special Note

Winning bidder needs to be able to get and out of a jet boat and able to walk on uneven terrain. Winning bidders will be notified by the Idaho Fish and Wildlife Foundation staff. Trip dates are non-negotiable.

PLEASE NOTE: An additional charge of 3.45% credit card fee, plus 35 cents per transaction will be applied to the winning bid price of each item. A 6% Idaho Sales Tax will be added to the final bid price for all land-based trips. For all navigable water-based trips, no sales tax will be charged due to Federal law. All sales are final.
