Item Description

TWO PERSONS will accompany Idaho Department of Fish and Game biologists and conservation officers on a trip to the Big Smoky and Lightfoot Bar elk feeding sites on the South Fork Boise River in Game Management Unit 43.

The trip includes a 40+ mile round trip via snowmachine with the opportunity to assist biologists and officers with elk survival. Lunch, snacks and snowmachines are provided.

Winning bidders need to provide binoculars and very warm clothes due to exposure to extreme cold.  TRIP VALID JANUARY 15 - MARCH 15, 2011.

Winning bidders must provide transportation to the Idaho Department of Fish and Game Magic Valley office in Jerome, Idaho. Trip is located in the South Fork Boise River north of Fairfield in Unit 43, Camas County.

Item Special Note

Winners need to be able to endure possible extreme cold temperatures.

Winning bidders will be contacted by Idaho Fish and Wildlife Foundation staff. Trip dates are non-negotiable.

PLEASE NOTE: An additional charge of 3.45% credit card fee, plus 35 cents per transaction will be applied to the winning bid price of each item. A 6% Idaho Sales Tax will be added to final bid price for all land-based trips. For all navigable water-based trips, no sales tax will be charged due to Federal law. All sales are final.
