This dinner for up to 6 will feature time with Wesleyan University President Michael Roth and his wife, Professor Kari Weil at the President's House in Middletown, CT. Date and time to be decided upon with the winner.

Michael Roth, '78, is the 16th president of Wesleyan University. Formerly president of California College of the Arts, Michael is known as a historian, curator and author. A professor in history and humanities since 1983, Michael was the founding director of the Scripps College Humanities Institute in Claremont, CA and associate director of the Getty Research Institute in Los Angeles. He has recently completed a book in intellectual history and writes frequently on education. He can’t cook, but he serves and cleans up pretty well!

Kari Weil teaches in the College of Letters and the French programs at Wesleyan. Kari has published on feminist theory, modern French literature, and is a leader in the emerging field of Animal Studies. She has recently completed a book project on the representations of animals in literature, philosophy and the arts. She is also a wonderful cook!
