Row, row, row your boat! Winning bidder will enjoy a Summer Sculling Lesson at Wesleyan's Macomber Boathouse with Head Coach Phil Carney. This lesson will include an introduction on our Concept 2 rowing machines on land, followed by time in a single scull on the Connecticut River.
Coach Carney is in his 23rd year at Wesleyan and holds the rank of adjunct professor of physical education. Phil is an accomplished leader and his list of achievements include coaching stints for the US Rowing Development system, Craftsbury Sculling Center, Riverfront Recapture and Middletown parks and recreation department crew program. Over the past two decades, Wesleyan's men's crews have won numerous medals at the New England Rowing Championships, and won it all in 2004.
