Nancy Hunter Denney is a nationally recognized inspirational speaker in higher education and non-profit helping organizations. Since 1993 she has been engaging audiences with her high energy, insightful and content packed keynotes on life and leadership. Nancy has appeared on over 900 college campuses and is a frequent keynoter at national, regional and state conferences. She has also appeared with Dr. Phil, Suze Orman, Soledad O'Brien, and Dana Reeve. Nancy is the author or co-author of five books including: Life by Design, Let Your Leadership Speak, Lessons from the Road, The Now Factors of College Success and Zing! Insights on Maximizing Your Influence. She earned a Masters Degree from Bowling Green State University in College Student Personnel, and her undergraduate degree from Oswego State, where she graduated magna cum laude. Prior to becoming a professional speaker, Nancy served 12 years in higher education student affairs administration. She is the mother of two college students, volunteers in her community and lives with her husband in Marion, MA.

Item Special Note
Time Frame of Service Offered
One hour keynote – or, up to two hours of a workshop presentation on the same day. Other formats such as additional breakout sessions and consultations may also be offered and negotiated between the Speaker and the campus.
Type of Audience
It is preferred to provide the Speaker with a multi-school conference or professional association conference where a diversity of colleges or organizations is present. Single campus events, staff presentations/training or conferences are to be negotiated in advance prior to bidding.
Scheduling
All speaking engagements are to be scheduled within 12 months of the close of each Showcase and payment made to the Foundation at the close of bidding or upon invoicing (unless other arrangements are made in advance with the ACPA Foundation Treasurer.) Conversations about availability and scope of the services are encouraged between potential bidders and the speakers in advance of the Convention.
Travel Expenses
An additional $500 is payable directly to the Speaker for travel expenses and/or as otherwise negotiated by the university directly with the speaker.
