Item Description

Authentic Halter, worn by Zenyatta, the Queen of Racing, is up for auction!

Zenyatta was the winner of 19 consecutive races in a 20-race career and is the American record-holder for consecutive victories without defeat in unrestricted races.  She was awarded the 2010  Eclipse Award for Horse of the Year .  Zenyatta was named after the album Zenyattà Mondatta, by The Police, who were signed to A&M Records by her owner, Jerry Moss.

This halter was donated to the Living Arts & Science Center by Zenyatta’s owners Jerry and Ann Moss, and Lane’s End Farm, where Zenyatta resides and recently foaled a colt sired by Preakness winner, Bernardini.

This auction includes a signed letter of authenticity from Lane’s End Farm.
