A true clipper ship, the Star Clipper reflects her proud heritage in every inch of polished brass. The ship is intimate, with room for just 170 passengers, but spacious accommodations and expansive teak decks provide ample space for relaxation or recreation. Lounge at the indoor-outdoor Tropical Bar and Piano Bar or curl up in front of the fireplace in the Edwardian-style library. Antique prints and paintings of famous sailing ships please the eye, while teak and gleaming mahogany rails are richly reminiscent of Star Clippers' proud nautical heritage. All cabins have marble-lined bathrooms with showers and include double or twin beds that can be converted to queen-size beds. Also included are a television with in-house video, direct dial telephone and hair dryer.

St Maarten:  Flying two flags, this island is half-French and half-Dutch. Cruise ships more commonly call on the Dutch side of St. Maarten, known for its shop-lined, narrow lanes and daytime casinos. Island tours, cruising on an America's Cup yacht and snorkeling excursions are offered in Philipsburg. Golfers should check out Mullet Bay.

Item Special Note

The prizewinner is responsible for securing their own air transportation to and from the vessel and any hotel and/or land arrangements.

This complimentary cruise is subject to availability, valid from November 23, 2013 until March 22, 2014 and is confirmable no earlier than thirty (30) days prior to sailing. Holiday sailings are excluded.  It is also non-transferable and has no redeemable cash value.

Specific cabin assignment will be at the discretion of Star Clippers and is based on a category 4 cabin, double occupancy.

Port charges for Carribean $225 per person and shipboard gratuities of $70 per person are additional payable upon confirmation of date selected. There is no fuel surcharge in effect for 2013/2014 sailings. If the price of oil per barrel raises above $70, Star Clippers reserves the right to introduce a fuel surcharge of up to $10 per person per day.

The winner will submit a written request with three sailing dates in the event the first choice is a departure not available. Upon confirmation they will need to send in the original certificate.
