Toast your holiday dinner party in style with two Sonoma Valley wines.

DeLoach Vineyard's  rare 2009 Le Roi Pinot Noir opens with focused aromas of ripe cranberry and cherry followed by concentrated notes of plum, clove and a slight hint of lavender. At first sip, dark red and blue flavors coat the palate and give way to flavors of black cherry, nutmeg and sweet persimmon. Focused acidity, supportive tannins and a long lingering finish make this a wine that is immediately enjoyable.

Picked before the mid-October rains of 2009, Le Roi benefited from the warm temperatures that stretched into the early days of October and yielded fruit that showed perfumed aromatics and intense flavors.

The famous Chardonnay vines of  Durell Vineyard are situated on the eastern upslope of Sonoma Mountain. The vines open in optimally balanced conditions, the grapes are hand harvested at the peak of ripeness, and the juice is tended to using Burgundian techniques.

DeLoach's 2009 Durell Chardonnay opens with aromas of stone fruit and lemon meringue pie. Flavors of lemon and lime zest mingle with rich, creamy vanilla for a round and lasting finish. 14.5% alc.
