Artist Bio: Kathie Villard is a self-taught artist who works in collage and photography. The development of digital technology has made it possible for her to expand her artistic vision through collage techniques, filter effects, retouching and manipulating images.
She has had her work exhibited at the St. George Art Museum, 2009-2010. She participated in the summer invitational art show and sale at the Braithwaite Gallery, Southern Utah University, in 2009 and 2011. In 2007 she won first place in the annual photography contest sponsored by the international travel company, Abercrombie & Kent. Villard is a member of the North American Nature Photography Association (NANPA) and the National Association of Photoshop Professionals (NAPP).
