Item Description
The Dresden Plate Quilt pattern was one of the most popular quilts made during the 1920s and 30s. This quilt gets its name from the Victorian Era which was centered around romance and the love for elaborate decoration on household items and decor. Dresden, Germany was a center of 19th century romanticism movement in art.
This patchwork quilt consists of many colorful "petals" appliqued to a background block. The petals have flat sides and are pointed at the top. Each petal radiates out to form a circle in the center and is made of a different printed fabric.
