Item Description
Artist statement " Eden's Hope" is a multi media sculpture inspired by a very brave little girl who has known more pain in her short life than most adults do after a full life. Baby zebras are born into the world with an uncertain future much like those living with Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. Eden has shown the strength , courage and bravery that is needed to face her future much like a baby zebra born into the wild. It is my hope that you will give the work " Eden's Hope" some serious consideration and help support TCAPP -- for all the Edens out there."
Item Special Note
Artist Bio " Lynn Erickson is an artist living in Maryland. She was diagnosed with Ehlers Danlos Syndrome(2007) and Chiari Malformation (2003). Pain is an every day part of her life but she still continues to push forward and work around a new normal, with changes daily. She spends her free time caring for her family, hiking when health permits, and advocating for others. She started LooseJoints.org in 2014 as an outreach to find the " Lost Zebras"- the icon for people living with Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. The sculpture is 16" x 7" x 3.75"!!
