“I started to take painting lessons when I was 13 years old and have been creating ever since. I began to work in mosaic 10 years ago and became addicted. I am self-educated, but one year ago I began taking classes with Saad Mikhaiel (Saad Romany-Micro Mosaic, Egypt) and learned how to do portraits. This was such an amazing experience that I started to work intensely on my abilities. I had my first international exhibit in October of 2013 in Gaziantep, Turkey. In January of this year I worked with Isidora Paz Lopez as well as 60 more chosen artists from around the world in Puente Alto, Chili. We made a mural on the town hall there. In February I took another course with Saad Mikhaiel to improve my knowledge of portraiture. Then in March, I organized a course for Saad Mikhaiel here in Germany to work on mosaic portraiture again.

I have to admit, I am a dreamer. I love fairytales, magic, everything colourful and I try to express this in my mosaics as well.

I want to give people a happy, warm feeling when they look at my work. A feeling we all had during our childhood when there was magic around us…glass, gemstones, millefiori, and I just love Swarovski crystals…the sparkle!”
