Great Performances is the official caterer of the Miami Open. We first came to Miami over a decade ago, and we’ve been honored to return every year and share our food with guests. Our food mission dovetails with this vibrant city, and we are inspired by its diversity and local flavor. We have established wonderful relationships with Florida farmers and producers, enabling us to source fresh produce and authentic ingredients. Over the course of the tournament, we employ over 400 local hospitality workers who help make your experience memorable. Our food rescue commitment serves 2 Miami food pantries.

We are proud to implement our mission—collaborative commitment to service, innovation and quality—in Miami once again.

Great Performances was founded 35 years ago as a waitress service for women in the arts. As the hospitality industry boomed, we quickly grew and added men to our personnel roster and catering to our client services. We built our first small kitchen in SoHo in l982 and then moved to Hudson Square. Today, Great Performances is an established, female-owned enterprise that remains a leader in the hospitality industry.

We are passionate about supporting the arts. Great Performances is the exclusive caterer for some of the city’s most prestigious cultural institutions, including Jazz at Lincoln Center, Brooklyn Academy of Music, Sotheby’s and the Apollo Theater, where we work with clients from the corporate, non-profit and social worlds. In many of these institutions, we operate cafes.

One of our cornerstone values is community involvement; we cultivate our own fellowship program, engage in anti-hunger efforts and food rescue, and educate children about healthy eating through our work with The Sylvia Center.
