Item Description

You simply cannot find this item anywhere else.

A well-traveled piece with an intriguing backstory, this brand new donated Gibson Epiphone Explorer guitar is signed by all five members of heavy metal band Five Finger Death Punch. The highest bidder will receive the instrument in the very condition it was in during the band's most recent tour overseas, a humbling journey they will not soon forget.

A proud supporter of the This Time Tomorrow Foundation, lead guitarist Jason Hook worked with photographer and sound technician Paul Weber to obtain the donated guitar from Gibson, with the intent of signing and donating it after a stint in Europe.

However, completion of the tour was in jeopardy following the terrorist attacks in Paris on November 13. The band received the guitar just six days later, and had plans to showcase it at major venues throughout Europe.

For the safety of their fans, as well as their own, Five Finger Death Punch canceled the Milan show and two other appearances on the tour. But Jason Hook and the band was adamant that the show must go on: in Prague and London. On Nov 28th, Jason played the TTTF guitar during the third song of the set, 2008 single Never Enough. In front of a sold out crowd of 12,000 people in London at the Wembley arena, the TTTF guitar made its place in history, increasing its exposure and value. After the show, all of the members of the band signed the guitar and took one final photo of Jason with it.

There's the story - now be part of the amazing history and place your bid today.

The winning bid will get: the guitar, its custom case, all used and unused guitar picks, and (3) 8x10 prints of the show in Prague, the show at Wembley, and the final photo of Jason Hook holding the autographed guitar.
