He also ran the Consumer Protection Clinic at the Univeristy fo Maryland Law School for five years. He is a frequent lecturer at state and national consumer protection conferences, and has received numerous awards for his pro bono work. His scholarship has been cited by courts and other scholars, and he is a frequent media commentator on consumer protection issues.
